Master of Nursing Role and Transition


Obtaining advanced education qualification for nurses is a crucial aspect of the nursing profession.
Advanced programs such as master’s programs equip them with crucial competencies to establish remarkable careers.
With the dynamic nature of the healthcare system, the role of masters prepared nurses is indisputable.
These professionals have proven that they can surpass almost all the challenges pertaining to health care service provision. 
Purpose Statement 
This presentation seeks to explore the role of masters prepared nurses in the healthcare domain.
It will highlight the various aspects of health care that place value on masters prepared nurses.
It will document the relationship between clinical scholarship/evidence-based research and masters prepared nursing role.
The role played by healthcare informatics and technology will also be explored.
Finally, the presentation will expound on some of the strategies necessary to advocate for RNs transition to advanced roles in practice.

   Improvement of patients’ care delivery and outcome using technology.
