Compatibilism

Compatibilism
Compatibilism is a fundamental philosophical context that humans can have both determined actions and a free will of their choice. In order to have a good understanding of compatibilism, one needs to know the elements of a free will. It entails a notion that every person has the ability to make a rightful independence and more free decisions. Nevertheless, various factors govern an individual’s free will. The paper analyzes the aspect of compatibilism and the aspect of the three that seems correct.
Reasons for the Support of Compatibilism
The concept of free will as an aspect of compatibilism helps in influencing an individual’s judgments. In most cases, a person may be coerced to make a wrongful decision on some important societal matters that they can end up regretting about. Free will remains to be a better illusion of a person’s life (Harding, 2013).  People have a chance to be morally responsible for the kind of actions and steps they make in life.
More importantly, there is a certain point in life or that a decision that a person takes can either destroy or build.  When individuals face a difficult time in their lives, it is important that they have a chance to make their own decision. When a person has a chance and the whole freedom, one gets to think and have time to analyze the aftermath of their decisions and to make the rightful choice.
In conclusion, everybody needs to make right choices and decisions in life without future regrets. In as much as a person has a freedom and total right of making decisions, there are certain actions that are determined by nature and by the natural conditions. Compatibilism remains to be a better theory that helps provide a fundamental freedom and right to make choices in life without influence from any other person.

Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence (A.I) refers to the development of wise objects that are capable of helping human beings to handle some real-life problems. A.I is also used when referring to systems used to improve human ability to think and reasoning. The paper will argue on the point whether I do or not believe artificial intelligence could be conscious like a human.
The article is known as “Can Computers Be Conscious?” written by Max Miller. The author starts by saying that electronic devices such as computers tend to have memory and think like human beings (Miller, 2017). However, the machines use their electronic brains when processing information. The author continues to argue that similarity between computers and human beings is still superficial (Miller, 2017). There is a major difference between human beings and the electronic devices. While people's brain operates on neurons as transmission networks, computers utilize zeros for coding and decoding information (Miller, 2017). The fact that human beings' brain, involves neurons and action potentials makes them conscious. Contrary, computers do not have signals to make them develop feelings. As a result, they are capable of being overworked without getting exhausted, which is contrary to human beings.
From the article, I do not believe that A.I could develop conscious like their human counterparts. The fact that they are unable to develop signals that could elicit feelings makes them different. In this case, they are utilized by human beings for their own benefit. The devices are capable to work tirelessly, hence becoming part of human life. They are also capable of accommodating large data volume. This is unlike any immortal being. Human beings have a limit. They cannot be stretched to the limit of remembering every detail they learn about their life. Contrary, A.I has given room to be manipulated as per the human knowledge. Therefore, they are not able to resist what is done on them. Instead, it is all about human intelligence where they are made more functional and productive. Therefore, they cannot be conscious.
In conclusion, A.I has been helping human beings due to their ability to think and hold large volume data. However, they are not close to being human and developing feelings. Hence, I disagree with the point that they can become conscious.

Social Justice

Social Justice
Humanity gets fractured when humans neglect other beings. All humans are interdependent and the vulnerable deserve conscientious consideration and a level of care. If nations have the capacity to prevent anything bad from happening without foregoing anything comparable to moral importance, then they have to do it (Singer, 1972). Nations have an obligation to help the disadvantaged in other nations.
Nations need to assist the disadvantaged in other nations to realize global peace and security. The argument goes that the less fortunate are more vulnerable to exploitation and will do anything to solve their problems. Terrorists, drug dealers, and other ill-intended organizations will exploit such opportunities to recruit them into their fold. They will be used to advance all ill intentions. Therefore, to realize global peace nations have a duty to care for the disadvantaged in other countries. In doing so, there will be equity, peace and cordial coexistence.
Nations need to assist the disadvantaged in other nations to create and maintain grounds for trade. Nations interdepend on each other and to achieve maximum commerce, one nation needs to assist the other in solving the issues that pull it back such as hunger and disease. For example, the amount required to prevent malnutrition around the world is similar to the budget spent in cigarette advertising in the United States (Andre & Velasquez, 2015). Therefore, America can prevent deaths from malnutrition by forgoing its cigarette budget. In choosing to assist, it will forego little and help in realizing full potential in the other nation. It will, in turn, open up opportunities for trade. There will be a maximum two-way trade for the nations.
In conclusion, nations have a responsibility towards the poor in other countries. It will assist in maintaining global security and justice. Nations have a moral duty towards others to create and maintain conducive environments for commerce. It is paramount in fighting inequalities mostly to the minority and vulnerable.
